Colourful, cheeky and without limits – Garmisch-Partenkirchen’s cabaret stage is all of this and more! Since 1986, cabaret artists and comedians like Michael Mittermeier or Dieter Nuhr have performed at the “Kulturbeutel” and made the crowd laugh out loud in the theatre’s unusually intimate atmosphere. Partenkirchen Peasant Theatre
Have you ever heard of classic comedies such as “Der Dorfpfarrer“ (“The Village Priest”) or “Die pfiffige Urschl“ (“The Cunning Urschl”)? No? Then it’s about time to catch one of the legendary performances that have been staged at the “Partenkirchener Bauerntheater” (“Partenkirchen Peasant Theater”) for more than 115 years! The amateur actors’ unrivalled charm will have you laughing out loud at this authentic, traditional and typically Bavarian venue!
A real highlight: Watch the local Schuhplattler dancers show off their skills before the performance and enjoy traditional guitar and “Ziach” (accordion) music during the break. A must-see not only for the locals!
Creme Frech
Sassy and vibrant: The popular Creme Frech drama group consists of actors of all professions and ages and has been bringing tons of fun to the mountain region since 1994. Let yourself be carried away by great performances like the annual Christmas fairy tale, the Murder Mystery Dinner or the elaborate open-air plays.
