The Marketing & Public Relations department not only is the place where ideas are born, and it is not only the creative heart of GaPa Tourismus, but it also deals with strategic questions: How does Garmisch-Partenkirchen view itself in tourism, where are our strengths and how do we place ourselves in direct competition with other holiday regions?

This is why our team's particular concern is the further development of Garmisch-Partenkirchen as a strong tourism brand with a clear profile and enormous radiance. The fruits of these efforts are apparent all over the place: Starting from the new and friendly logo and the clear slogan "discover your true nature" to the new design of all the printed media and new website.

The team handles all of the communication concerning tourism - from the planning via the design up to the actual realisation: This includes all of the traditional communication by means of advertisements, posters, leaflets and other advertising media.


This also includes the public relations and co-operation with print, radio, film and television.

It, furthermore, includes sales promotion in the national and international markets and merchandising.

Last but not least, it includes all of the communication here on the Internet - ranging from the daily maintenance of the website via online promotion to the relaunch of our Internet presence.
